Hi Bernard,

21 cm Morser, originally given by the French Govt in 1924 to Australia and allocated to Hindmarsh, South Australia. It was acquired by a private collector

when the local council found they couldn't afford to restore the gun. It was sold last year (2011) to the Peter Jackson Collection in New Zealand.

The serial no. of the 21cm howitzer is #853.
