De la part de Charlie Clelland

Hi Bernard,

#34 Build 1913 Brazilian order

Dungog RSL, Lord St, Dungog, NSW

Dungog is a small, fairly remote town inland from Newcastle. The 75mm gun they were allocated after WW1 was in poor condition so the local

Men's Shed (*) decided to restore the gun - what they achieved is quite remarkable. The gun was on temporary wheels since it took over a year

for the wooden wheels to be made.

Regards,

Charlie

* - I have no idea whether you have Men's Sheds in France. It's a movement where retired men can meet and work on various projects such as making wooden toys for disadvantaged children, some sheds take on more ambitious projects. There are Men's Sheds in most towns in Australia
