§§- 75mm M1911 Bulgare à Sofia
De la part de Charlie Clelland, photos de Massimo Foti
Hi Bernard,
Massimo Foti did a phot survey of the Military Museum in Sofia a few years ago - this is on Flikr.
One gun of interest is a 75mm Brazilian gun in the museum. It's know that the Germans seized 108 guns form a Brazilian order in 1914 and eventually gave them to the Bulgarians and Ottomans. I think this might be one of the guns given to the Bulgarians in 1914.
The Bulgarians captured 75mm guns from the Ottomans when the fortress at Odrin (Adrianople) was captured in 1913 but the Brazilian guns weren't distributed until after the capture.
